Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When I found out my wifes uncle was planning a bike ride in aid of raising funds for his local hospice, “count me in” were the words straight out of my mouth! I had no hesitation to join him, as it is an ideal opportunity for me to be able to help raise funds for my local hospice ‘East Cheshire Hospice’, where my wifes grandfather was looked after and cared for so well. So off I went and started training, putting in many miles.
So on August 14 2010 I will be setting off with Roy Bazeley, my wifes uncle, on a 100 mile sponsored cycle ride starting at East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield, going via the Severn Hospice in Shrewsbury to Roys home in North Shropshire.
Raising funds to support my local hospice is very important to me as they rely heavily on donations and is such an important and crucial local service.
People and staff within a hospice touch many peoples hearts in more ways than one and it is an ideal opportunity to give something back.
Please help support the work of the Hospice.

100 MILE CYCLE RIDE IN AID OF HOSPICE
In the early hours of Saturday 14August, Nick Bailey from Congleton and Roy Bazeley from Hodnet, Market Drayton will be setting off on a sponsored 100 mile cycle ride raising funds for both East Cheshire Hospice and Severn Hospice respectively. Nick and Roy will no doubt be accompanied by numerous riders throughout their journey which will take them from East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield to Severn Hospice in Shrewsbury, then on to Severn Hospice in Telford, finishing at Roy’s hometown of Hodnet hopefully before tea time, where they will be greeted by family and friends who will also be joining in to help celebrate Roy’s 50 Birthday!!
Both the and Severn Hospices have helped in the care of family members over the years.
