WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Alongside 15 colleagues I am taking part in the national 3 peaks challenge to raise money for WaterAid for a project in Madagascar. Over the years I have provided a lot of Telecoms Consultants in Africa and decided it was time to give something back. It is also an opportunity to forge closer relationships with my work colleagues, get fit and have some fun!

As a team we are committed to raise a minimum for £5,000 to strengthen the great work WaterAid are already doing. The money will be used to support 2 rural municipalities of the Tsiroanomandidy district in central Madagascar who have some of the poorest rates of access to water and latrines. As well as delivering access to water, sanitation and hygiene, we are supporting WaterAid’s project to focus on building the communities’ capacity to sustain the new facilities, and to embed newly adopted hygiene practices.

Please help make a difference by sponsoring me and my team to complete the challenge. I understand money might be tight so whatever you can afford will be hugely appreciated :-)
