Story

Wha-hooo! and, ouch! Job done in 2hrs 2mins. I was in bits at the end but it was so worth it. Fantastic day - awesome crowds and a fair few shouting out for Drugfam as I ran by. See my gallery for a few mobile phone pics. Thanks to all who have donated so far. Massive generosity xx.

*******************************

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page, whoever you are!

Two years ago almost to the day, my cousin Pasco James - see pics below in 'my gallery' - died unexpectedly in his sleep. He had struggled for a long time to find a way of living without drugs. As I discovered at his memorial, there were so many that loved him and many more who valued his considerable talents as a musician and fisherman.

I am running the Bath half marathon in his memory. For those who miss him most and for the thousands of families affected by drug addiction, I am passing all donations to 'Drugfam'. Pasco's mum, Harriet, nominated this charity, which she found a massive help in the terrbile aftermath of his death. Thank you for any sum you feel able to give.

For those of you who are new to JustGiving, here's some info:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
