<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>My daughter Kirsty was 12 when she started suffering from ME (chronic fatigue). Her main symptoms were daily severe headaches, a lack of energy, brain fog, faintness and an inability to sleep at night. Her condition was so severe that she couldn't participate in school or sports and it was difficult for friends to understand her debilitating condition. Although the NHS eventually diagnosed her condition, there is no treatment and limited advice. Now 16, she is thankfully back at school with a limited timetable and a lot more energy. Through it all she has hardly ever complained and we are very proud of her.</p> <p>AYME is the charity set up to assist young people with ME.</p> <p>I am running on behalf of AYME to raise funds and awareness of ME in young people.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
