Why am I doing this Parachute jump?

I am doing this for my friend Steve and his beautiful daughter Emily. Emily was born with a rare chromosome disorder which gives her and Steve many challenges on a day by day week by week basis. To face up to these challenges support is required and Unique is an organisation which gives just that. My overwhelming feeling, as I approach this, is that I want to stand shoulder to shoulder with my mate as he too jumps out of a plane at 10,000 ft plus. This is because I am inspired by the way in which he and Emily, with great courage and dignity cope with all that is thrown at them.
