We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

Please support Nick and Mark from Ogilvie Fleet who are running the Sheffield Half Marathon on the 14th April 2019.

And Gillian Brown, also of Ogilvie Fleet, who is running the Berlin Half Marathon on the 7th April 2019.

We are running to raise money for the Sheffield Children's Hospital and specifically in memory Nick's nephew, Jack Faulkner.

We are incredibly fortunate to have the Sheffield Children's Hospital on our doorstep, allowing children facing incredible adversities to receive the best possible treatment, carried out by teams of dedicated nurses, doctors, surgeons and specialists.

Your donation will help create a happier environment, provide better equipment and allow the amazing staff to do what they do best and crucially increase a child's chance of survival and recovery.

At just 15 years old, Jack passed away in October 2018 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Under unthinkable circumstances, Jack showed strength, determination, respect and maturity way beyond his 15 years and a 13 mile challenge by comparison should be simple!!

#TeamJack has already proudly raised tens of thousands of pounds for two wonderful causes and we simply hope to add to this amazing tally.
