I'm going to run the Bristol 10K to raise as much money possible for the British Lung Charity.


The British Lung Foundation calls on nine challenges for the next Government:

Challenge one
Make resources available for full implementation of the clinical strategy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
 
Challenge two
Include a simple lung function test within the NHS Healthcheck Programme
 
Challenge three
Ensure that patients with lung cancer are considered for surgical resection
 
Challenge four
Make the conduct of the coroner's investigation that follows a death from mesothelioma more sensitive to the needs of the bereaved
 
Challenge five
End the discriminatory treatment of people who use oxygen when travelling on planes
 
Challenge six
Ensure that people with obstructive sleep apnoea are diagnosed and receive appropriate treatment
 
Challenge seven
Introduce a comprehensive tobacco control strategy
 
Challenge eight
Take action to reduce harmful emissions and improve the United Kiingdom's air quality
 
Challenge nine
Improve the lung health of children in the UK
