<p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Thank you for taking the time to look at my Just Giving Page.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">This year I have managed (crazily), to get a ballot entry place for the London Marathon. &nbsp;So I decided I wanted to raise money for a charity that I know will help a friends daughter, Grace. &nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Grace is a beautiful girl who is seldom without a smile on her face. She never complains and has a pure zest for life. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #0000ff;">Grace was born with a rare genetic disease called Cystinosis, occuring in about 1 in 200,000 births. Cystinosis causes an accumulation of the amino-acid Cystine within the cells, forming crystals which cause damage to the cells. &nbsp;This damage affects many sytems in the body, especially the Kidneys and Eyes.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Grace has to have regular medicine and check-ups and rarely will complain. &nbsp;The money I will hopefully raise, will go towards current research into better control of this disease. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Please donate whatever you are happy to, to help Grace and many others. &nbsp;Your support will not only help me get round the 26.2 miles but will also help the Cystinosis research programme and its work to find effective drugs to improve Graces' quality of life.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">A HUGE THANK YOU FROM ME..........</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
