At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Nick, Keith and David are going to cycle 170 miles.

Why 170 miles?

Because that’s the grant CLIC Sargent gives to families after a child is diagnosed with cancer to help them cope with the immediate issues such as travel costs, accommodation, etc. caused when they have to drop everything - often moving hundreds of miles away from their home and support to be with their child in hospital.

Why £1,700?

Because every day, ten families get this terrible news.  So we want to see if we can provide CLIC Sargent with the grant money it needs for this for a whole day!

Why cycling?

Because Keith, David and I are middle aged men, of course!

Why the picture of the beautiful boy?

Because Sam is exactly what you are giving your money for.  Sam got cancer, our lives were torn apart, and CLIC Sargent helped us to hang in there when it seemed as though we were all on our own.

Go on - let's do it for Sam!
