The CPBF goes Coast2Coast
Thank you for coming this far! But before you reach into your pocket, let me tell you a little bit about what we are doing and why!
The CPBF is embarking upon an epic adventure to help raise money for current, former and retired care professionals who through no fault of there own have fallen on hard times. Many of these people have dedicated much of their lives to taking care of others only to find out that there is nobody to care for them when they need it most.
The CPBF is here to change this!
By providing small pockets of financial support, the CPBF is able to make a HUGE difference to people's lives. This is why all donations, no matter how big or small, are so important as it could be the little bit that makes the BIG difference.
Nick, Alex and Dave's adventure starts on Saturday 26th June on the beach in Whithaven. Armed only with a mountain bike, map, tent and some high energy sports drinks they will cycle a 135 mile route taking them all the way to the coast in Sunderland! These intrepid explorers have only 2 days to complete the challenge so will be looking to cycle for more than 8 hours a day! Stay tuned for regular updates on their progress and the trials and tribulations they will inevitably encounter!
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give generously as this is a mammouth task and your genorosity may be just what the guys need to get them to the end.
