Nick's SAINT-GOBAIN 350th ANNIVERSARY BIKE RIDE
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
Hello Everyone !!
Saint-Gobain, the company I work for, is celebrating its 350th Anniversary.
From the 10th to the 13th of July 2015, my colleagues and myself from across the Group are coming together to take on the gruelling challenge of cycling 400 miles in four days; from London (Crystal Palace) to the Saint-Gobain Archives in Blois, France. This isn't a gentle walk in the park, and at 100 miles per day, it will be tough going but, I am sure you will agree, very worthwhile if it helps the chosen charities. Many of us will have loved ones or friends, we know that have been affected by Cancer and this is my way of helping the fight to beat it! I will be posting updates and pictures of my ups and downs along the route every day so be sure to have a look!
The ride is being led by Peter Hindle MBE and we're raising valuable money for the Saint-Gobain Together Partnership, which this year is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and the Irish Cancer Society.
This is a big challenge with fund-raising aspirations to match and my GoPro will tell the story on Facebook along the way!
