<p>Hi there, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I've decided to challenge myself this year by running the London Marathon in 2012. I'm also pleased to be able to support Deafness Research UK at the same time.</p> <p>This charity has a particular resonance in my family so it is great to be able to support them and it also gives me another motivation to complete the 26.2 (don't forget the 0.2) miles. Every single donation will be much appreciated.</p> <p>My Dad used to be a bit of a runner back in the 80's and did a few marathons, including the London and the New York. Unfortunately he was quite handy and managed some pretty good times including a best of 3hrs 20. So there is my target.
