Dementia Australia is a unified, national charity for people living with all forms of dementia, their families and carers. We represent the 487,500 Australians living with dementia and the estimated 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. We are the new voice of Alzheimer’s Australia.

Story

I've teamed up with great mates and organised the Home Instead Bondi2Berry Ride to Remember to raise awareness and help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease.

It's a terrible disease, the second leading cause of death in Australia.

My Grandma passed away from it, my Nona passed away after suffering for 7 years with it, and my Dad was diagnosed with it in 2011 and I am sadly seeing his life slowly being sucked away.

There are more than 350,000 Australians living with the disease at the moment and this number will soar to 900,000 by 2050 if there is no breakthrough in research for a cure.

Thank you for donating to my page and supporting our ride, you are helping us make a difference.
