Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Life begins at 40, so they say. In my case there are a few years left to go, so it looks like I've got some waiting to do. There are a number of things I want to achieve by this age; great experiences, fun stuff and self-enhancement. One of them that combines all of these is the desire to run a half or, if I can manage it, a full marathon. Training began late October 2009 and one milestone on this journey is to complete a 5K run.

December 13th is the date and it provides a great opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause and to have the excuse of running round a park dressed in a Santa Suit!

The Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge provides specialist care to adults who have a non-curative illness such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease, cardiac disease and HIV / AIDS.
