Story

Hello!

I'm off this coming weekend (JUNE 18th/19th 2011) to have another go at running round the SouthWest Peninsula. My 750-mile circular route will take me from my home in Buckhorn Weston (North Dorset) down to the start of the SouthWest Coast Path at the entrance to Poole Harbour, all around the coast to the end of the Coast Path at Minehead, and then back across Somerset to home.

You may follow my progress on www.pathrunner.co.uk

My aim is to have completed the challenge by July 9th (21 days later, or quicker if my legs allow) because I want to go to the theatre that evening to see BirdyChickChick perform at the Buxton Festival (check them out on Facebook)!

Please support the work of the Dorset Historic Churches Trust. These beautiful buildings are such an important and integral part of our landscape and history and sadly many of them are falling into disrepair. In the tradition of the pilgrims of old, the sky will be my roof and the sea my bath.

Thanks!

Nick

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
