Story
Hi All,
Okay, if you have come this far, please go a little further by supporting and sponsoring me to complete a cycle ride from Vietnam to Cambodia in February 2010. I will be cycling 525km in just 8 days! That's an average of 65.53km per day and it is for an excellent cause - Breast Cancer Care.
The challenge will be taking me from Ho Chi Minh City, through to the rice-paddles and waterways of the Mekong Delta into Cambodia. I will be cycling until all the way to the Royal Temples of Angkor Wat in Southeast Asia.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and in 2008 more than 45,500 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, that’s around 125 women a day. Worldwide, more than a million women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. However, it is not just women that are affected - each year around 300 men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer incidence rates have increased by more than 50% over the last twenty-five years and this is why there has never been a better time to help the charities that work so hard to support, treat and diagnose those that are affected - so please help support me in my cycle challenge and raise money for Breast Cancer Care. This is my JustGiving page where you can make sponsorship donations. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now - whatever you can as every penny donated makes a genuine difference.
