<p>Every couple of years I set myself a new challenge and use this as an excuse to raise money for charity. &nbsp;This year I will be attempting to complete the Alpe d'Huez triathlon and raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Alpe d'Huez triathlon involves a 2.2k swim in a cold alpine lake, a 115k ride which includes 3 big climbs (the last of which is the famous Alpe d'Huez) and finishes with a 22k run at the top of Alpe d'Huez (i.e., hilly and at altitude!). &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The race takes place on July 27 and is likely to be one of the toughest events I have ever been foolish enough to sign up for.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please support me and help raise money for what I believe is a great charity.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Nick</p>
