In aid of Friends of Forest Holme, Nick and Dan would like to invite you for sponsor them for their ‘Pound for Pound’ challenge that they will be participating in over the Summer from the 7 of April to Saturday the 1 of September. How the Pound for Pound Challenge Works Those that know Nick and Dan know the pair of them are no strangers to a few pints and more than a few fast food outlets in the local area! They are prepared to give that up, get in the gym and sweat the pounds off for your sponsorship. For every pound either Nick or Dan loses, we ask that £1 be donated to Forest Holme, i.e. If one of them loses a stone over the period, we ask that £14 would be donated as the sponsorship. (50p per lb optional) The more pounds they shed, the more they raise for Forest Holme. If you could spare the money to sponsor either Nick or Dan for the challenge we would be extremely thankful and will do our utmost to shed the pounds. In giving your email address as well as signing up for sponsorship, we will provide updates of our progress in the middle of May, June, July and August so you can all check up on how the pair of us are getting on! The final weigh in takes place on Saturday the 1st of September 2012. And ask that the final loss be donated at the end of the challenge. However, straight donations are also very much welcome to kickstart the challenge and give us the motivation we need to hit our target of £500!
