I have supported this charity in memory of my mum, Vera Jordan, who sadly succumbed to this dreadful disease in 2008.  This was the second time that Mum had suffered from breast cancer, the first time being nearly 30 years ago and she was always grateful that, through research funded by charity donations, she was able to survive it the first time and live to enjoy a happy retirement, travelling the world and to see her children marry but most of all watch her 3 grandchildren grow up.
