Yes this is a challenge of a life time for me , when I heard about the other girls that were doing it I thought how brillant , exciting and hardwork it would be , when my husband Chris said " you go for it " I didnt hesitate I signed up straight away ,now the Journey begins !! and thats where I need your money!!

The cycle begins from the capital of Ethiopia Addis Ababa and I will be cycling approximately 350km over six days throught the mountainous region of Oromia finishing the journey at beautiful mountainous Gimbie.

Maternity Worldwide is working to reduce mortality associated with childbirth , figures show one in 20 women in Africa die in pregnancy. This is compared to 1 in 3000 in the United kingdom.

 This arduous journey will be nothing compared to the pain and heartache these women go through on a daily basis.
