We are walking 13.3 miles from 1 Angel Square to Rochdale Pioneers Museum to tackle loneliness with the Co-op and the British Red Cross.
Loneliness is indiscriminate - it affects people of all ages and backgrounds and can be found in all types of communities. It can lead to a sense of despair, and emotional and mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. In fact, it’s reported to be twice as bad for our health as obesity.
