I'm attempting my first (and probably only) marathon on 10th April 2011. There are 10 of us entering the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for INTO Giving's latest project - the building of a school for orphans and vulnerable children. The school is in the township of Chawamma on the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia and will provide much needed teaching facilities, nutritional advice sessions, counselling, after-school clubs and holiday clubs for the orphaned children living in this area. We are supporting a local charity, I-CCO, who provide sponsorship for these children to cover their uniform costs, any school fees, basic food supplies and medical needs. Without this help these children would probably receive no education at all. Any donation you make will go directly to the project and not to administrative costs.
