Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, I lost my brother over 5 years ago to Suicide.  The pain and suffering caused by his loss is still raw with my family and we will never know the true reasons why Lee chose to end his life.

The suicide rate in young men seems to be at a crisis point within our small community.  It's absolutely devastating to think that people see no other way out of their problems but to end their life.  Having lost someone in this tragic way, I know only too well the heartache and loss this will have on their family and friends.

I want to try and make everyone aware of the support which is available through the charity 'Mental Health UK'.  To support this great cause I have decided to sign up for the Great Scottish Run and run the Half Marathon on Sunday 29th September in Glasgow.
