So, after years of applying and a hard winters training the big day finally arrived.

It was warm and sunny and I was bursting with excitement! This is what all the pain, sweat and tears had been for :)

The run was amazing, the support from our fantastic crowds was overwhelming and the MacMillan support stations were the loudest!

My lovely family and friends came up to cheer me on and as the day got hotter I ran the route in 4 hours 26 minutes and 29 seconds!! I’m so very pleased with that time J

It was day I will never forget.
