Bupa Great North Run 2011 · 18 September 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, things have changed - I will be running the Great North Run rather than the Manchester 10k.  I will also be running it with Geoff (which is a first!!)  Having had the GNR on my "to do" running list for quite some time, I am quite excited about actually getting the opportunity, finally, to complete.

The Alzheimer's Society is once again my chosen charity as it is a charity which I am passionate about.  I'm not going to go into a long-winded speech about why & what for but instead, will politely ask, that if you are able - to simply donate what you can.

It really does help in making a difference to people who's lives are affected by Alzheimer's.

Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
