Let me take a few minutes of your time to explain what it's all about!!
So as many of you know I am studying at Nexus which is a Christian Music School in Coventry. Each year a week is taken out of the normal timetable in order to have RAGWEEK which is basically a week were we are all split up into different teams to complete various fundraising tasks. This year it will be held in May.
I have been placed in two events - Cycle Powered Busking and a World Record attempt at the World's Longest Football Match. The Cycle Powered Busking will be the main event that I will be involved in. Basically the idea is that we use 'green power' to operate our sound system and equipment in order to do a concert like event open air in Coventry city centre, and we do this by creating the power needed by cycling - so as you can imagine we are going to clock up a lot of miles between us that week.
For the football challenge, my job will be as a nurse, ensuring that there is someone medically trained on the pitch at all times so the guys playing the football are kept fit and healthy throughout the 72hours.
It would be really wonderful if I could get your support for this week, both financially and prayerfully! I have been unbelievably blessed already by so many of you, and for that I am truly thankful!
