I can barely drive the car... a 200 mile tuktuk drive across India should be a breeze!
The aim is to raise as much money as possible to donate to a village in India. This is the charity:
http://www.elizabeth-ann-charity.co.uk/
The charity was initially established after the sudden death of Elizabeth Ann Davies at the age of just 16. The aim was to secure a well for the village of Burlavaripalem. Since 1990, the charity has been involved a series of wide ranging fund raising and community development projects in Chennai.
Matt and I are getting involved in this exciting one taking place in December. Under the team guise of Needle Eye Cherry, we are participating in a ten day trip, driving 200 miles in a tuktuk from Chennai to Barrypuram. With my excellent driving skills and albino skin, this can only end well! We want to raise as much money as possible for the charity - please, dig deep!
Thank you. xxxx
