Story

My niece, Aimee, has Retts Syndrome. It is a devastating condition that means she cannot talk, walk or use her hands effectively. She is seven in May this year and her mother would love nothing more than to see her stand unaided and hear her talk. She'd also dearly love to be able to get rid of the increasing amount of machinery in her house that has become essential just to get through every day things like Aimee having a bath.

The thing is, there is a cure for this condition within sight. The condition has been reversed in animals. There are clinical trials being conducted right now, testing drugs that already exist. A cure really is on the horizon.
