The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

We are the Stockport Steppers taking part in the step Challenge this year each of us for different reasons:

Kirsty Pollard - I'm taking part to raise money for a great cause to help change young people's lives even small donations make a big difference

Nicola Sturgess - I am taking part to give me the additional incentive to walk 10,000 steps a day and at the same time raise lots of pennies :)

Liz Yates - I decided to get involved in the Capita step challenge as the Prince's Trust is a great charity because they help thousands of young people transform their lives and what better way to keep fit for a month

Charlotte Hull - A great opportunity to give back and get fit

Kay Deacon - WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES - Each year your donations help to support 50,000 young people in to jobs, education or training. Having experience working within alternative education settings where young people have not been provided with the support from the Princes Trust I can see the importance of raising funds, awareness and resources to help more young people gain confidence and have the ability to make a life for themselves to keep out of the justice system, drugs and unemployment

Tracy Finnigan - What a great way to make sure I achieve at least 10000 steps per day, whilst being able to help young people make a better life for themselves!
