Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 21 April 2018

We're raising funds to help older and younger people gain confidence in the future, whatever challenges they face today.

Story

Myself and 3 of my colleagues are taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge in order to raise money and awareness for 2 great causes, Barnados and Age UK.

These 2 charities help both the young and the elderly. They support the people who are in need,  vulnerable and require support.

Barnados is a children's charity, who look to give children a voice, supporting children who may have been exposed to domestic violence, abuse and neglect, poverty, child carers and other situations that cause children to be vulnerable.

Age UK is a charity for the elderly, who look to make the UK great place to grow old. Age UK provide lots of different support for elderly people, including information and advice lines, providing support around benefits, a befriending service and support around healthcare plus other services.

My aim is to raise £400 for these great charities to try and make a difference to someone's life.

In the Santander Branch at Pontefract, we will also be holding fund raising days, again in order to raise more awareness for these great causes.
