Thank you for all your donations Xxxx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 19th September 2011 our lives were turned upside down. We were so excited and looked forward to the arrival of our beautiful daughter Amelia Isabella Grace. But sadly, on 21st September after a perfect pregnancy, our angel was born asleep.

We found out on the day that she was born that her cord had a true knot in it and that this had starved her of oxygen. We are devastated. A little baby girl so innocent, so small; our little girl, taken from us within the blink of an eye. There was nothing we could have done to save her.

The devastation of losing a child is unimaginable but Sands provides vital support for families in our situation.

We decided to take on a challenge to help raise awareness and funds for Sands but also to honour the memory of our beautiful baby Amelia - you are always in our hearts and thoughts.

Our challenge is to climb to the top of Mount Snowdon in Wales on Saturday 26th May 2012 with lots of family and friends. We would like to raise £1000 for this excellent cause. Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, is an organisation that offers support when a baby dies during pregnancy or after birth. 17 babies a day are either stillborn or die within the first twenty eight days of life, over 6,500 babies dying every year. Sadly, Amelia was one of these babies.

We have had a lot of support from our friends and family through this difficult time and also from the charity Sands. We would like to keep Amelia's memory alive by raising money for Sands.

Please help us keep Amelia's memory alive and donate anything you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
