I am running for the Fabulous 40 - Fighting to Reverse Rett. Helen and her family live nearby and I heard of her challenge as we both approached our 40th birthdays. Her daughter Lauren was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome 4 years ago.

Rett Syndrome is a neurological condition, affecting mainly girls. It basically causes them to be locked inside their bodies - unable to walk, talk or use their hands.There is currently no treatment or cure, but recent research has made some significant steps forward.

I hope to make a small contribution to Helen's fundraising challenge. Thanks for helping me.
