HELLO! We took on the Great North Run last year and now Roly has talked me into the New York Marathon. We are very grateful for all your donations, and we thank you for your support. All the money we raise will go straight to Maggie's - we have funded our flights, acommodation and costs etc.

We are running in support of Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres. Cancer will at some point in our lives affect almost all of us in one way or another. Maggie's Centres help people adjust to living with cancer. Its pioneering support programme has been developed for patients, their carers, family and friends. Each centre is located close to an NHS hospital and they have been designed carefully and imaginatively to make sure people feel at home. Please visit their website to see why we are so motivated to train for and run this marathon and be able to offer support to Maggie's Centres.

Now for your challenge....a friend tried this before and it seemed a good idea.  We challenge you to guess our combined times, the closest wins a very special prize! (Clearly we haven't decided what this will be yet. A multiple of your donation maybe?!)
