Story

After Saving the Rhinos, I thought it would make sense to also look after humans! So I am moving my fundraising efforts to Saving the Children and trekking above Mont Blanc altitude!

Lloyds Banking Group is supporting Save the Children and a group of 35 Colleagues will trek to the Everest Base Camp for that cause, aiming at fundraising a total £140,000 (that's what I call serious fundraising stuff).

Families and Schools Together (FAST) is an award-winning project that boosts the chances of kids in the UK's most deprived areas by supporting parents to improve their children's learning and development at home, so they can reach their full potential at school (more info in the video in my gallery).

So please, dig deep and donate now! Donate also via Text message to 70070, send “NICO77 £10”

The adventure will begin at Lukla, where we will trek to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar: acclimatising to the altitude, following the trail across numerous rivers. Then the real efforts will start gradually from Thyangboche, where you we will reach a highpoint at Kalapathar (5,545m) with breathtaking (literally) panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.
