My story

I am collecting for the Udzungwa Forest Project - a conservation initiative supported by Flamingo Land Ltd. I will be doing this by inhabiting an empty animal enclosure, for seven days, to become the world's first Humanzee exhibit!

UFP is an awesome charity that works with local people in Tanzania to help protect the Udzungwa forest. The forest contains a huge number of endemic animals and trees (unique to that area), and is unfortunately in great danger of being completely gone in the next ten years.

Your money will go towards helping with sustainability programmes, such as tree planting schemes, fuel efficient stoves, and fuel briquettes - all of which will help reduce the demand on the local forests. As well helping pay the Tanzanian team that collect data on the trees and animals.
