My skydive finally went ahead on Sunday 20th December and it was an amazing experience. Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me. I have also uploaded some pictures of the jump.

My name is Nicole and I’m 17 years old. In 2007, my best friend Hannah was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. She was just 15 when diagnosed and still continues to battle with her illness. Hannah has been through some really tough times and this is where Momentum has helped.

Momentum is a charity which supports children with cancer and other life limiting conditions and their families. They have given Hannah some fantastic experiences, some of which I have been lucky enough to be invited to. Not only this, but because Momentum is a local charity, they really get to know the people they support and their families personally.

This is why I am going to do a tandem skydive in early November. I’ll be jumping out of a plane 2 miles above the ground and plunging to earth at 120 mph!!! I’m hoping to reach my target of £2300.00 to raise money for this incredible charity.

Hannah is an inspiration to me and many others and I am proud to call her my best friend. Please sponsor me because your money will help Momentum continue to provide support to children and their families through an extremely difficult time.
