Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Following on from my London Marathon exersions of early last year I've been fortunate enough to have been awarded a place to run for the national charity called ASSERT.
ASSERT are a support charity run by volunteers to help support families of individuals with Angelman Syndrome. Angelman Syndrome is a rare chromosome disorder which affects 1 in 20,000 - 30,000 individuals. The main characteristics of AS are severe learning difficulties, limited or no speech, mobility difficulties and round the clock care. ASSERT not only works to raise the awareness of this condition they also work to create a network of support with the families of people affected.

My other big motivation for running the London Marathon is that early last year I managed a time of 4hours 4minutes & 53 seconds, so feel another stab at breaking the 4 hour barrier would be worth it before I retire from this distance (26 miles is a long way to run!).
So please dig deep and donate now.
