At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

My story

In February 2013, I am planning a trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest Mountain in support of CLIC Sargent, with Benny's Godfather and 3 other friends, Laurence, Brendan and Duncan.

We lost Benny on the 23rd February last year, just 2 weeks before his 10th birthday. We will be at the top of Kilimanjaro which the locals call 'The House of God' on the 14th February, 9 days before the anniversary. That's 6000 meters above sea level and I can't think of a better place to be.

Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer and CLIC provide invaluable support to them. They continue to be a great support to Su, Luke and myself.

So please dig deep and donate, it really is going to a good cause.

Thank you

Nige
