Having been diagnosed in November 2008 with Testicular Cancer it has been very strange, often painful but also very rewarding and challenging period in my life.I am fortunate enough to be still continuing my battle thanks to the amazing help of the Berkshire Cancer Centre.

Now that my strength has returned to a suitable level, I can attempt to pay back in a small way the treatment that I recieved.   I aim to raise £5,000 which will be donated to The Reading and District Hospital Charity the monies raised will be ringfenced and spent at the discretion of the Berkshire Cancer Care Unit.

I am sure you are all frequently inundated with charity requests but please donate whatever you can(no matter how small) it is all very much appreciated and will be going towards an extremely worthy cause that helps people through troubling times.

March Madness Triathlon and Quiz -Saturday March 13th to Sunday March 21st

Saturday March 13th    Quiz Night - A night of head scratching in Arborfield Village Hall,RG2 9PQ

 

THE EVENING WAS A GREAT SUCCESS WITH £315 BEING RAISED ON THE NIGHT

 

Sunday March 14th      Tandom Skydive at Salisbury

 

ALL FOUR JUMPERS COMPLETED

 

Saturday March 20th    Bike Ride Hungerford to Reading

 

A DAMP RIDE BUT THE RIDING TEAM BATTLED THROUGH

 

Sunday March 21st       Reading 1/2 Marathon       

 

A GREAT DAY AND ALL THREE OF THE RUNNING TEAM GOT AROUND
