Story
Nikey Lee Robinson was born in Huntingdon on the 20th May 1989.
Nikey had epilepsy from the age of seven and although at its worst it caused her to suffer up to 200 fits a month she was fiercely independent and with the love and support of her family and those around her she lived life to the full and without fear!
Nikey suffered a seizure in her sleep that she sadly was unable to recover from and was found sleeping on the 21st March 2013. This is known as Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). This is a condition that alot of people aren't aware of, including those it most affects, people with epilepsy! Nikeys family weren't aware of the dangers of SUDEP.
SUDEP is a wonderful charity that supports bereaved families such as Nikey's after the loss of a loved one, sponsors research and education to prevent future deaths and much, much more!
Nikey was a dare devil and wouldn't of thought twice about taking on a challenge such as jumping 10,000ft out of an aeroplane so this challenge in her memory is so apt! We are hoping our jump will take place in Cambridge on Saturday 6th July 2013!
