Story
I'm joining together with my good friend Ethan and a stalwart team to raise money for brain tumour research in memory of Ethan's brother, Patrick Kennedy, Navan Manor, Armagh, who passed away peacefully aged 36 on 19 February 2014 after being diagnosed the previous summer with a blastoma.
We're walking a full marathon distance through the night on the 27th September 2014. Some idiot at one point said she was going to do it in heels, but she may have changed her mind...
Please visit our team fundraising page, you'll see our target on the right. Your donation can take us a step closer to this goal and make a difference to other sufferers who come after Patrick. Let's help Cancer Research beat brain tumours sooner.
Thank you!
Sleep can wait. Beating Cancer can't.

Each year in the UK, over 9,400 people, including around 400 children, are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. But they can be hard to treat and around 5,000 people in the UK lose their lives to the disease every year. This is why Cancer Research UK's groundbreaking work must continue.
