10 years ago yesterday I was given the life changing news that I had MS. At the time I was devestated not knowing what the future held for me. Researching just seemed to make it all worse as the future looked fairly bleak. Yes I had a few days of depression thinking that my life was just about over and that I would never get to do all the things I wanted to but then I kicked myself up the bum and decided that this was just the exact reason to start living my life!

So from then I gave myself a challenge to do each year, so far I have progressed my career, climbed mountains (both physically and metaphorically), walked miles, conquered fears and had 2 amazing children with my husband. But I wouldn't have been able to do anything on my bad days without the amazing support of the most fantastic set of family and friends a person could ever have!! THANK YOU ALL!

Last year I started a new medication which has literally given me my life back again! I now feel better than I have for years so now its a time for me to help others. As this coincides with my 10 year anniversary I have decided that over the next 12 months I plan on taking raising as much money as I can for the MS Society so hopefully others can find their magic medication to make them feel even a little bit as good as I do!

This is all going to start off with a cake bake, so I will be baking a few cakes in May and all I ask is that you put a few pennies in a pot for a piece of cake! It'll be cheaper than buying one from Costa or Starbucks!
