“Nikki Pearce's fundraising”

10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

I am doing a sponsored skydive for the charity Ataxia UK http://www.ataxia.org.uk/ on 25th September. I became aware of Ataxia UK after meeting a heartbroken grandmother of a little girl called Millie Mae, who has this disease. Ataxia its a rare neuro muscular condition effecting every nerve and muscle in her body, including her heart. Millie Mae is suffering severely.

The only hope that Millie Mae and her family have, is to prolong her life for as long as possible. Much research is still needed in this field, which is why I ask you to dig deep into your pockets and sponsor my skydive. This will help Ataxia UK raise the funding they need to aid sufferers such as Millie Mae. You can find out more about Millie Mae and her condition by visiting her website: http://milliemaesworld.co.uk/millie/

Huge thanks to donators, remember every penny counts!! xx
