My story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I feel extremely lucky to be running the Marathon this year, and privileged to be doing so for The British Forces Foundation - a charity that works hard to boost the morale of the servicemen and women of our Armed Forces on the front-line all over the world. You might not support our politicians, but I think you would agree that the men and women that often put their lives on the line deserve our support.
Having previously only ever run after my children, this will be something of a personal challenge! There are days when I dream of crossing the finishing line...and there are others when I think getting to the starting line will be an achievement (usually following a knee injury or such like). But if I can finish in under 5 hours, and walk the next day, I'll be thrilled!
So please donate whatever you can. There's no minimum...there's no maximum! Every £ truly counts.
