NINA DID IT - ONE MILE IN 50 MINUTES!

My name is Nina and I'm 9. I live in Masham and go to Masham C/E Primary School and I love ladybirds!

I'm going to swim a mile (in one go - that's 64 lengths of Bedale pool) on 22nd March 2010 and raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. I love swimming and have already managed half a mile, thanks to Andy Eyles, my swimming teacher at Bedale. The reason I have chosen to do it for Cancer Research is because I think it's a horrible disease and I want to help make people better. My grandad died from cancer. It would be good if you could help by sponsoring me so Yorkshire Cancer Research can find more cures.
