My story

3 Days. 3 Charities. 3 Peaks.

This May the Noam Mazkirut (office staff) are taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, a daring attempt where we'll scale the 3 tallest mountains in the UK – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - in just 3 days!

Having been fortunate enough to grow up in a communtiy like Noam, which gave us the tools and experiences we needed to make the most of our lives, we felt it was time Noam as a movement did something to make sure other young people are given the same opportunties we were.

Please support Adam, Annabel, Avigail, Grace, Jessie, Nick, Richard and Yoav as we attempt to complete one of the UK's ultimate challenges, climbing 3 mountains in 3 days to raise money for 3 great causes:

1.      The Ruth Schneider Fund: Provides financial assistance for children to attend Noam residential events. The Ruth Schneider Fund ensures that financial difficulties are not a barrier to our young people from participating in Noam activities throughout the year.

2.      Catch 22: Supports young people who have had tough upbringings or are living in difficult areas. Catch 22 provides programmes that helps young people to develop their confidence and skills to grasp solutions that are right for them; from getting back into school or into training, choosing to stay out of crime, finding a safe place to live and helping them with the skills needed to live independently after leaving care or custody.

3.      The Bereaved Families Forum: A grassroots organisation of bereaved Palestinians and Israeli families. The Forum promotes reconciliation as an alternative to hatred and revenge between Israeli and Palestinian families through dialogue and innovative educational and artistic projects.

 Your sponsorship will:

1.      Provide bursaries for young people wishing to attend residential Noam events

2.      Support Catch 22: Provide adventure weekends and residential breaks for young people needing a break from inner city life

3.      Support the Bereaved Families Forum: Fund classroom dialogues that facilitates the meeting of bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families

With your help, Noam can support these great causes that are close to our heart and continue in our own work, inspiring young people to make their world a better place and make a contribution to their community.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank-you for making our journey worthwhile!
