This page is aimed mainly at all members of the Corporate Services Team as my final untapped source of charitable generosity. However, I will be eternally grateful for gestures of support (or dosh as it's known in Finance) from anyone else who is moved by the enormity of the challenge that lies ahead of me i.e. my share of the SMT's static bike ride to Paris.

I have calculated that if every member of Corporate Services gives just 1p per mile and I reach my target mileage of around 40 miles then I will raise no less than £11.60 for Independent Age. Be warned, however, that I may very well exceed the target and get as high as 45 miles. Also, be aware that if, instead of giving 1p per mile, you give 2p then I will double the amount I raise for IA with hopefully very little additional financial pain to you. The only pain around here is likely to be felt by me.

One final thought - this has got to be worth just to see me in my cycling kit..........
