My story

In October Cherry and Loretta (unfortuntely I, Nola, can no longer go as I am expecting my second child in November), along with 132 other friends, family and colleagues of Elise will be heading out to China to trek the Great Wall, this is all in aid of Elise for Life.

Elise was our sister; she was diagnosed with a rare form of Skin Cancer, Malignant Melanoma, on 4 January 2010. After a courageous battle with this indiscriminate disease she died on 3 October 2010. During her illness Elise and her husband Mark set up Elise for Life an appeal within The Christie, one of Europe’s leading Cancer hospitals, to raise £1 million.

The funds raised will be split equally between Melanoma Research and the New Clinical Trials Unit.

It is a fact that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer at some time in their life, with these odds there is no doubt that you will know someone, or be that one, who has been affected by this disease.

Please give generously; any sum will be greatly appreciated and help us reach our £1million target.

Thanks

Nola, Cherry & Loretta
