<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page 'Slim for Life' was started on behalf of Rita Ferguson who was a patient at the Brownlee Ward at Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow. This ward helps people with infectious illness &amp; septicaemia and is staffed by a dedicated team of doctors, nurses &amp; surgeons. It is a small but very valuable section of the hospital, giving life saving treatment to people just like you and me. It's amazing how 24hrs can change your life which is what happened in Rita's case she would not be alive today if it hadn't been for the team of 'Angels' in the Brownlee Ward.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
