Dani and I are off to wander around a few lumps in the Himalayas this autumn.You are very welcome to join us on October 11th for my 60th on Gokyo Ri where my birthday 'high' will be added to by being at 5360m.

Or you may just prefer a break in the Lakes and choose to spend some time at the cottage! The cottage is available from the beginning of October to the end of December. Check with us for available dates before September 17th or contact Rose at mailto:batemanrose@hotmail.com  after that.

It is 25 years since the poisonous gas leak at the Union Carbide factory  and the site is still contaminated resulting in continuing birth defects and serious illnesses . The clinic to which your donation will go gives free medical support to the Bhopal community.
